The course includes meditation, instruction, writing exercises, and group discussion as well as in-session practice of the skills we are learning. No prior meditation experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome!

A growing body of research demonstrates that self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional wellbeing, an ability to cope with life challenges, a healthier lifestyle, more satisfying personal relationships, and lower levels of anxiety and depression. In this class you will discover the science and physiology behind self-compassion and learn the skills to practice self-compassion in your daily life.

Often parents and people working in caregiving professions find the practices of MSC particularly helpful. The 8-Week course has been approved for 12 Continuing Education Hours for LPCs and Social Workers. The total price for the classes is $475.
