Feeling stuck and lonely?
You’ve tried to create a successful life – and yet you still feel empty and alone.
You find yourself caught in a job you don’t love and a relationship that leaves you feeling lonely – or caught in survival mode without knowing how to get out.
You push through each day trying to check off all the things on a never-ending to-do list and wake up to the same miserable feelings the next day.
It feels like you have tried everything…
You have been talking with friends, reading books, changing up routines, but nothing seems to work.
The voice in your head continues on with a litany of self-criticism and judgment.
It’s hard to know how to find relief or escape from this repeating cycle of distress.
Therapy can help.
Coming home to yourself
We all find ourselves in places like these at some point in our lives. Whether you’ve suffered the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or you’ve reached a breaking point with a problem behavior and feel ready for a change, you are not alone.
We can help you find your way through the stuck-ness to more authenticity and freedom.
Change begins with befriending yourself – just as you are.
Hi, I’m Diane.
I’m the founder and director of Atlanta Center for Self-Compassion, a safe space where you can be heard and find hope. Let us help you explore why you may be stuck in patterns and behaviors that are no longer serving you. Together, we will find the way through.
Our team of highly trained therapists will help you with the critical work of understanding your emotions. Many of us allow our emotions to be in the driver’s seat much of the time without even realizing it.
Therapy can help you learn skills to effectively work with your emotions, so you can live a life based on your values and goals.
We use the tagline “Baby Steps and Gentleness” because it works. Over and over our clients learn to be kinder and gentler with themselves. With our help, they finally find the freedom to move forward in their lives one small step at a time.
